Our Projects

 

Before beginning any new project, GambiaHELP volunteers do extensive on-the-ground research and have many long meetings with villagers to be sure proposals are appropriate have the full support of their communities.

One requirement is that a village must supply 25% of the cost of its project – often in the form of labor and land – to ensure the community’s commitment.

We truly value our donations, and take great care to ensure that funds go directly to useful and productive projects. We have a number of trusted volunteers in The Gambia who help with the sometimes tricky task of ensuring that all money is used precisely as intended.
